Saint Vincent de Combiaty
Brouilly is the southernmost of the Beaujolais Crus. The hill was named after an officer under Caesar's command called Brulius. This famous, much enjoyed wine has a forthright attack with rounded blackberry and blackcurrant aromas.

Vinification
The grapes are carefully hand picked on around 10th September when the grapes are fully ripe. 12-day semi-carbonic maceration allows all the colour and body to be released from the terroir into the wine, making it powerful and generous.
Maturing, bottling and tasting notes
A garnet-robed wine that is a harmony of ripe black berry fruit. The attack is fruity and heady, waking the taste-buds. On the palate the flavours are structured and well-balanced. This wine makes the perfect match to red meat and cheese.
