Beaujolais-Villages was the first appellation in France to use the term “villages” in its name. The wines here are fruity and fleshy, a reflection of the terroirs they come from. The aromas and flavours are of red fruit, with blackcurrant and strawberry at the fore.
Vinification
The grapes are carefully hand picked. Semi-carbonic maceration is at low temperatures and lasts 8 days. This wine gives a true reflection of the appellation.
Maturing, bottling and tasting notes
Carried out at the château by me in bottles and wine boxes. This elegant, supple and generous wines is bursting with rich fruit aromas and flavours. Enjoy it with starters, delicatessen meats and cheese.
