Fleurie Vieilles Vignes
Coteau Grille Midi
Grille Midi is said to be the best named vineyard in the Fleurie appellation area. This is a granitic amphitheatre bathed in sunlight and we have every reason to believe that its name comes from the fact that it is really very hot there at midday. Our Grille Midi is made using the grapes from old vines. Every year, it brings you ripe fruit and spice aromas and flavours. Its personality is roasted and toasty, balanced and structured, with supple and flavourful tannins.

Maturing, bottling and tasting notes
Carried out at the château by me. This is a garnet hued red that is a harmony of ripe fruit and spice. The heady attack awakens the taste-buds, leaving the mouth filled with peony, violet and cinnamon. This wine makes an ideal match to red meat and matured cheeses, rounding your meal off to perfection.
