Chiroubles Vieilles Vignes
Pente de Fontenelle
This harmonious Cru is the less well-known than its neighbour, Fleurie. Its robe is shiny red with violet and iris aromas. This supple wine is charming, both elegant and racy.

The grapes are carefully hand picked at the end of September, when they are ripe. 12-day semi-carbonic maceration allows all the colour and body to be released from the skins into the wine, with rack and return highlighting this.
Maturing, bottling and tasting notes
Carried out at the château by me. This cherry red robed wine is a harmony of red fruit with a supple, long-lasting attack. Peony, violet and a touch of spice make this wine a perfect partner of red meat, game and cheese. A heady and balanced wine to grace your table.
